Thanks to my 'henandgoose' blogger friend we had a fantastic photographer the other weekend. She was so fun to work with, has such a laid back style and an amazing eye for lighting, check her out at
I know that down the line these photos mayl get shoved to the side as our family is still growing (8weeks to go). I just couldn't resist capturing this age. This is the best size ever, they are little people but with their cute little baby legs still. Before I know it she will be thinning out (well not so sure about that as this little girl has an appetite and is often found digging into the lunchbox of her schoolmates) and phasing out of toddlerville. I just want to squeeze her and kiss her all day right now. By the way, I am very aware of the fact that my daughter is currently sporting a mullet but I just can't bare to cut those long curls. What's a mom to do.
I can't believe my baby will be a big sister soon. I have been playing up the baby doll big time right now to get used to the idea that her little world will be rocked. It is such a contradiction of times right now...you want to give your little one every ounce of you while it's still just the two of you at home but the big ol' belly so takes away from the energy and patience levels and seems to taint the picture perfect vision you have of the last few weeks. Just a right of passage I guess.
