My sweet Harte is such a big girl now. All she wanted was a princess party so of course I delivered. There was no way to make it princess-eco-chic...I mean come on what princess wants to carry a canvas bag. We had star krispie wands, fruit wands, crown sammies, the works. When Cinderella showed up Harte says to her, 'but where is your carriage?" and never quite took to her there after, unlike Gracie girl who was first to plop on the chair and have Cinderella paint her face. Hey, they wrote the song 'It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" for a 3 year old, right.
Not sure if you notice but in true princess form she had a number of outfit changes through the day Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White and then slipped into Ariel for the tree swinging post party wrap up. It was a ton of fun but she keeps saying she likes the pretend Cinderella much better....hmmm Daddy's checkbook probably would've preferred the pretend one too!ha ha.
